• Tim’s Cash is earned on all CIBC Tim Hortons Double Double Visa Card purchases less returns, and not on cash advances, interest, fees, balance transfers, payments, CIBC Convenience Cheques or Tim Cash redemptions. Double Double CIBC Visa Card program may change without notice. Taxes, fees and other charges may apply to redemption of Tim Cash.
• Real time award of Tim Cash at the time of a credit purchase is subject to system availability and may be subject to certain exceptions. Real time award of Tim Cash is not available for credit purchases made at merchants that process credit transactions as security deposits (for example, gas merchants, hotels and car rental agencies). From time-to-time you may also see reward adjustments added to your Double Double Tim Card when the final purchase amount is higher than the original amount authorized.
• You will receive a welcome bonus of $20 in Tim Cash if you have at least $200 in credit purchases on your CIBC Tim Hortons Double Double Visa Card. Welcome bonus will be awarded to the primary cardholder’s Tim Card account, provided your card account is open and in good standing at the time the Tim Cash is awarded.
• Card holder must accumulate 50 CIBC Visa purchases in order to qualify for coupon reward. A CIBC Visa purchase is defined as a minimum purchase of $10.00 on the CIBC Visa. Reward shall be delivered to the email account provided to CIBC on your credit card application. The reward shall consist of a coupon for a free 50 pack Timbit Box, while supplies last. The 50/50 offer is for a limited time and may be discontinued at any time.
• Card holder must accumulate 5 Tim Card purchases plus 5 CIBC Visa purchases in a single month in order to qualify for this reward. For the purposes of this ‘5 and 5 offer’, a Tim Card purchase is defined as a minimum purchase of $1.50 or a minimum reload of $10.00 on the Tim Card. A CIBC Visa purchase is defined as a minimum purchase of $10.00 on the CIBC Visa Card.
